Serbian president to visit Kazakhstan

Tengrinews.kz – President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic will pay an official visit to Kazakhstan, reports Akorda.

It is reported that, at the invitation of Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Vucic will visit Astana on 26–27 February.

As part of the visit, full-scale high-level talks will be held.

The heads of state will discuss the state and prospects of Kazakhstan–Serbia relations, with a focus on further strengthening political dialogue, expanding trade and economic ties, and developing cultural and humanitarian cooperation.

It should be recalled that on 15 February Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated Aleksandar Vučić on Serbia’s Statehood Day. In his telegram, it was emphasized that Kazakhstan highly values its strong relations with Serbia, which are based on sincere friendship and shared aspirations.

It is also noted that in May 2025 the leaders of Kazakhstan and Serbia held talks in Moscow. The heads of state reaffirmed their mutual commitment to implementing previously reached agreements and agreed to continue their dialogue on bilateral and international issues.
