Separate ministry of artificial intelligence will be established in Kazakhstan

Tengrinews.kz – A separate Ministry of Artificial Intelligence will be established in Kazakhstan. This was announced by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev during his latest Address to the Nation.

During the address, the President emphasized the urgent need to adopt the Digital Code law:

"It should define the key areas of digitalization, including artificial intelligence, the platform economy, the use of big data, and other aspects.
To become part of the new technological paradigm, the entire system of public administration must be restructured, with a significant increase in its transparency, efficiency, and human-centeredness. Therefore, I believe it is necessary to create a Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development based on the existing specialized ministry," the President stated.
