Tengrinews.kz - The President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, stated at an expanded government meeting that groups have emerged in the country that consider themselves public figures.
"They mostly use social media and unjustifiably stir up disputes around decisions that are correct but not acceptable to many, thus sowing confusion. Therefore, it is important to thoroughly and comprehensively explain all decisions to the population. This applies to all regions. Any work must be as transparent and understandable as possible," said the President.
As a reminder, an extended government meeting with the participation of the President is taking place in Astana. Today's meeting will summarize the country's socio-economic development for 2024, and identify key tasks for the coming period.
