Internal Affairs Ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member-states had a good time in Astana, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the speech of the SCO Secretary General Muratbek Imanaliyev made after signing the protocol of the ministers' meeting in Astana. “I would like to thank Kazakhstan Minister of Internal Affairs Kalmukhanbet Kasymov and all the departments and organizations that arranged the meeting for excellent conditions of work and good time,” said Muratbek Imanaliyev in his final speech. The parties signed a protocol involving a complex of activities aimed at development of cooperation of internal affairs authorities of six countries in countering crime. The closed-door meeting discussed organized crime, drug trafficking, illegal migration and illegal Internet use. The meeting was held prior to the 10th anniversary of the Organization. It was attended by SCO member-states, as well as observers from India, Pakistan, Iran and Mongolia. Belarus representative attended the meeting as a dialog partner. By Maksim Popov
