President Putin, highlighting the opening of Russian-language schools in southern regions of Kazakhstan, expressed gratitude to the Kazakh leadership and personally to President Tokayev.
“We are, of course, grateful to the leadership of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and personally to Kassym-Jomart Kemelovich, for the careful treatment of the Russian language and for the important initiative to establish the International Organization for the Russian Language, whose activities will promote it as means of intergovernmental and interethnic communication,” Putin stated.
Let us recall that, at the invitation of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Russian President Vladimir Putin will arrive in Kazakhstan on November 27 for a state visit. During the visit, high-level talks will take place. The heads of state will participate via videoconference in the 20th Kazakhstan-Russia Interregional Cooperation Forum.
On November 28, under Tokayev's chairmanship, the next session of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) will be held. Delegations from member countries will discuss pressing issues of regional and international security. A number of documents are expected to be adopted following the session.
