Tengrinews.kz – Kazhydromet has issued storm warnings for several regions of the country for Monday, April 7.
Abai Region: Fog is expected at night and in the morning in the east and south of the region.
Akmola Region: Thunderstorms are expected during the day in the west, south, and east. The wind will be from the south and southeast, with gusts of 15–20 m/s in the south and east during the day.
Aktobe Region: Heavy rain and thunderstorms are expected at night in the west and south. The wind will shift from southeast to west, with gusts of 15–20 m/s in the southern part.
Almaty Region: Thunderstorms are expected in the southern mountainous areas. The wind will shift from east to southwest, with gusts of 15–20 m/s, occasionally reaching 23–28 m/s in the west, south, and mountainous areas. Almaty: Thunderstorms expected in the morning and afternoon. Southwesterly wind with gusts of 15–20 m/s during thunderstorms. Konayev: Thunderstorms expected in the morning and afternoon. The wind will shift from east to southwest, reaching 15–20 m/s during the day.
East Kazakhstan Region: Fog expected at night and in the morning in the north and south.
Zhambyl Region: Heavy rain expected in mountainous areas. Thunderstorms and hail possible in the west, south, east, and mountainous areas during the day. Southwesterly wind of 15–20 m/s, with gusts up to 23–28 m/s in the southwest, northeast, and mountainous areas. Taraz: Thunderstorm expected at night. Southwesterly wind with gusts of 15–20 m/s, occasionally reaching 23–28 m/s.
Zhetysu Region: Fog expected at night in mountainous areas. Southwesterly wind with gusts of 15–20 m/s in the east and mountainous areas, and up to 25 m/s near the Alakol lakes.
West Kazakhstan Region: Heavy rain expected at night in the north and east. Thunderstorms and hail possible in these areas. Southwesterly and westerly winds, with gusts of 15–20 m/s in the west, north, and east. Uralsk: Thunderstorms and hail expected at night. Southwesterly and westerly wind, gusting up to 18 m/s during the day.
Karaganda Region: Heavy rain and thunderstorms expected during the day in the west and central parts. Fog at night and in the morning in the north and east. Southeasterly wind, with gusts of 15–20 m/s in the west and east during the day.
Kostanay Region: Thunderstorms expected in the south and east in the morning and afternoon. Fog expected at night and in the morning in the west and north. Southerly and southeasterly wind, with gusts of 15–20 m/s in the south and east during morning and daytime.
Kyzylorda Region: Heavy rain expected at night in the north. Thunderstorms and squalls at night and in the morning. Wind will shift from southeast to west, with gusts of 15–20 m/s in the center at night and 25 m/s during the day.
