Meanwhile, Russian Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsia) said that they were unable to identify foreign objects on the Azal plane that crashed near Aktau. The agency noted that the report of the Ministry of Transport of Kazakhstan confirmed that it was the crew that chose the Aktau airfield for landing and did not take advantage of offers to land in Makhachkala and Mineralnye Vody.

Earlier, the Ministry of Transport published a report stating that the investigation conducted within the framework of the report "does not involve establishing the share of someone's guilt or responsibility" and the work of the commission on a detailed examination of the damage to the aircraft's structure continues.
