Tengrinews.kz - Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov reacted to the report on the plane crash near Aktau, according to Russian media.

During the briefing, Peskov said that Russian agencies will carefully study the preliminary report of the Ministry of Transport of Kazakhstan on the investigation into the crash of the Embraer-190 passenger plane of Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) near Aktau.

"This is a preliminary report. Of course, our relevant agencies will study it with great attention, with due attention. We do not consider it possible to comment on this topic from the presidential administration," he added.

Meanwhile, Russian Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsia) said that they were unable to identify foreign objects on the Azal plane that crashed near Aktau. The agency noted that the report of the Ministry of Transport of Kazakhstan confirmed that it was the crew that chose the Aktau airfield for landing and did not take advantage of offers to land in Makhachkala and Mineralnye Vody.

Earlier, the Ministry of Transport published a report stating that the investigation conducted within the framework of the report "does not involve establishing the share of someone's guilt or responsibility" and the work of the commission on a detailed examination of the damage to the aircraft's structure continues.
