Tengrinews.kz – Kazakh leader Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with Montenegrin President Jakov Milatovic on the sidelines of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly, according to the press service of Akorda.
The Head of State emphasized that Kazakhstan views Montenegro as an important partner in the Balkan region.

In response, Milatovic thanked Tokayev for his significant contribution to the development of bilateral relations.
He noted that Montenegro is becoming an increasingly attractive destination for Kazakh tourists. The launch of direct flights between Almaty and Podgorica, along with the visa-free regime for Kazakh citizens, has helped bring the two nations closer together.

The President of Kazakhstan also held talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, where Tokayev emphasized the importance of continuing diplomatic efforts to find ways to end the conflict in Ukraine.
