Tengrinews.kz – President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received Bakytzhan Sagintayev, Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission, according to Akorda.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for further development of the Eurasian Economic Union.
Special attention was given to the priorities of Kazakhstan’s chairmanship in the EAEU bodies in 2026.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was also informed about preparations for the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, scheduled for December 21 in St. Petersburg.
It is noted that in 2026 Kazakhstan will assume the chairmanship of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council (SEEC).
