Tengrinews.kz - Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated Emomali Rahmon on Tajikistan Independence Day, according to a message from Akorda.
In a congratulatory telegram, the Head of State noted that under President Emomali Rahmon's leadership, Tajikistan is confidently strengthening its statehood and successfully implementing important reforms, receiving high recognition on the international stage.
"Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized that over the years of sovereign development, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan have built mutually beneficial relations that are dynamically evolving in the spirit of strategic partnership and alliance for the benefit of the peoples of both countries.
The President wished the Tajik leader continued success in his responsible state activities, and the fraternal people of Tajikistan – prosperity and well-being," the press service of Akorda stated.
During negotiations with his Tajik counterpart, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted that his visit to Tajikistan is aimed at elevating Kazakh-Tajik relations to a new level of friendship and mutual support. He emphasized the importance of signing an agreement on allied relations between Kazakhstan and Tajikistan.
