Tengrinews.kz - President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev presented state awards to prominent public and political figures of Kyrgyzstan during his official visit to Bishkek, citing Akorda.
By presidential decree, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS-KR) Kamchybek Tashiev received the Order of Dostyk (Friendship), First Class, for his significant contribution to strengthening friendly and allied ties between the two countries.
The Order of Dostyk, Second Class, was awarded to Dastanbek Djumabekov, a deputy of the Seventh Convocation of the Jogorku Kenesh (Kyrgyz Parliament); presidential advisor Arslan Koichiev; and public figure Askar Salymbekov.

In his address, Tokayev praised Kyrgyz leaders for their dedication and hard work in advancing bilateral cooperation. He highlighted their role in reinforcing political, economic, and cultural ties, as well as in expanding interparliamentary dialogue.
“I would like to extend special gratitude to Chairman of the State Committee for National Security Kamchybek Kydyrshaevich Tashiev. Your contribution to strengthening bilateral cooperation in security and addressing complex regional stability challenges deserves the highest recognition. This is not just a ceremony but a symbol of Kazakhstan’s deep respect and appreciation for the brotherly people of Kyrgyzstan. I am confident today’s event will be remembered as a milestone in Kazakh-Kyrgyz relations, symbolizing eternal brotherhood and good neighborliness between our nations,” said Tokayev.

As part of his official visit, President Tokayev also awarded Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov with the Order of Altyn Qyran (Golden Eagle). During the ceremony, Tokayev described Japarov as a true leader and experienced politician guiding the Kyrgyz people toward progress.
