Tengrinews.kz - President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has arrived in Shymkent for a working visit, according to Akorda.

Tengrinews.kz - President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has arrived in Shymkent for a working visit, according to Akorda.

During the trip, the Head of State is expected to review the city's socio-economic development.

Earlier, Akorda announced that a special meeting with the President would take place, focusing on recent shifts in global markets.

Previously, Tokayev held a meeting with Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov, National Bank Chairman Timur Suleimenov, and other senior officials to discuss the state of the economy amid a sharp decline in energy and commodity prices triggered by global tariff disputes.
