Tengrinews.kz — President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev stated that one of the country’s key goals today is to foster a sense of economic patriotism among citizens, citing Akorda.
“In the era of artificial intelligence, various opportunities are multiplying exponentially. New industries and business models will inevitably emerge — this is a golden chance for our thoughtful and active youth. The state and society must support young talents, and we will do so,” said the Head of State.
Tokayev emphasized that nurturing citizens in the spirit of economic patriotism means supporting domestic producers, investing in Kazakh entrepreneurs’ ideas and startups, and choosing local products. According to him, this too reflects civic solidarity.
“Today, the number of our national brands is growing. A national product represents our country around the world. Therefore, the Made in Qazaqstan label must become a symbol of quality and trust,” Tokayev said.
The President added that the growing interest of foreign consumers in Kazakh goods demonstrates that the domestic business sector is developing successfully. Local companies are entering global markets, expanding their operations, and representing Kazakhstan as a dynamic and progressive nation.
Tokayev noted that honest entrepreneurs should rightfully be regarded as citizens who express their patriotism through concrete action — by creating jobs and contributing significantly to the well-being of the people.
Supporting small and medium-sized businesses, he stressed, remains a top priority of state policy.
