President recalled Kazakhstan's steadfast position amid global conflicts

Tengrinews.kz — President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev reaffirmed Kazakhstan's steadfast position amid global conflicts, according to our correspondent.

During a press briefing, the Head of State noted that international and regional agendas were discussed during negotiations with the President of Cyprus.

"We are concerned about the escalation of the global geopolitical situation and the growing number of conflicts. Our states' positions on many global issues are similar. Both countries strictly adhere to the principle that any conflict must be resolved solely through peaceful and diplomatic means. We have agreed to work together effectively within the framework of the UN, OSCE, and other international structures. We have pledged to participate actively in ensuring peace and stability. Kazakhstan's position remains unchanged: all countries must strictly observe the UN Charter and the fundamental principles of international law. Kazakhstan respects the territorial integrity of other states and calls on all countries to prioritize this principle. Strengthening ties between our two countries is the common goal of our nations. I believe that through joint efforts, our mutually beneficial cooperation will reach a new level," said Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

Previously, Tokayev described the Republic of Cyprus as one of the reliable and important partners of our country in Europe.
