President of South Korea Lee Myung-bak will visit Astana in the end of August, Interfax-Kazakhstan reports citing Kazakhstan Foreign Ministry’s press-service. The coming visit of South Korean leader was discussed during a meeting of Kazakhstan Foreign Minister Yerzhan Kazykhanov with Parliament group of South Korea led by member of Korean parliament and chairman of Korea-Kazakhstan Friendship Group San-Chung Pak. According to the head of Kazakhstan Foreign Ministry, the visit will become a major step in further development of strategic partnership between the two countries. The issues of bilateral cooperation were also discussed at the meeting. According to Kazykhanov, interaction between two countries is entering a new level of strategic partnership, which is certified by dynamics of high-level visits exchange.
