Tengrinews.kz – President of Slovenia, Natasa Pirc Musar, will pay an official visit to Kazakhstan from March 31 to April 1, according to Akorda’s press service.
During her visit, she is scheduled to hold talks with President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, where key issues of bilateral cooperation in trade, economy, investment, transport, and cultural-humanitarian spheres will be discussed.
"Particular attention will be given to developing business ties. As part of the visit, a Kazakhstan-Slovenia business forum will also take place. Slovenia is actively promoting initiatives for ecosystem protection and sustainable development," the statement said.
The visit is expected to be an important step in strengthening bilateral relations, including in the fields of ecology, economy, and humanitarian initiatives.
Earlier, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a phone conversation with Israeli President Isaac Herzog. Initiated by the Israeli side, Herzog congratulated Tokayev on the upcoming Nauryz holiday. The two leaders also agreed that President Herzog would visit Kazakhstan later this year.
