Tengrinews.kz – On December 4, President of the European Council Antonio Costa will pay an official visit to Astana, according to Akorda.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the signing of the Enhanced Partnership and Cooperation Agreement between Kazakhstan and the European Union.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Antonio Costa will hold talks and discuss prospects for further cooperation between Kazakhstan and the EU.
Astana has prepared for the visit of the President of the European Council: ahead of his arrival, state flags of Kazakhstan and the European Union were displayed along the city’s central avenue.

Earlier, in September this year in the United States, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with Antonio Costa on the sidelines of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly. The President emphasized Kazakhstan’s strong commitment to deepening partnership with the EU both bilaterally and within the C5+ dialogue format.
Tokayev and Costa exchanged views on current international and regional issues, and agreed to maintain further contact to expand mutually beneficial interregional cooperation.
