Tengrinews.kz – During a press briefing, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev announced an important development regarding cargo transit to Armenia, citing Akorda.
“Azerbaijan has lifted all restrictions on the transit of goods to Armenia that had existed since the occupation, and the first such transit shipment was Kazakh grain to Armenia. I believe this is also a good indication that peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia now exists not only on paper but also in practice,” Aliyev stated.
It should be recalled that on August 9, the leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia, in the presence of U.S. President Donald Trump, signed a joint declaration on the cessation of hostilities. Tokayev then noted that the peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia signed in Washington was a historically significant achievement.
