Official presentation of Astana as a candidate to host EXPO-2017 will be held in Paris on June 14, Tengrinews.kz reports citing official representative of Kazakhstan Ministry of Foreign Affairs Askar Abdrakhmanov. As per Abdrakhmanov, the executive secretary of Kazakhstan Foreign Ministry and state coordinator on promotion of Astana Candidacy for hosting international specialized exhibition EXPO-2017 Rapil Zhoshybayev will go to the headquarters of the International Exhibitions Bureau (BIE) in Paris on June 10. Official presentation of Astana as a candidate for hosting EXPO-2017 will be made on June 14 at the 149th session of BIE General Assembly. Representatives of over 150 countries will take part in the session. Provisional theme of EXPO-2017 in Astana is Energy of the Future.
