Tengrinews.kz – Kazhydromet meteorologists have presented the weather forecast for July 24, 25, and 26.
Cyclone approaching Kazakhstan
Over the next three days, an active cyclone will move across Kazakhstan, bringing rain and thunderstorms, and in the west, north, and central regions of the country – heavy rain, hail, and squalls.
In the east and southeast, mostly dry weather is expected. Strong winds are forecast across the country, with dust storms in the south.
Temperature outlook
Meteorologists warn of severe heat affecting several regions of Kazakhstan from July 24 to 26.
July 24:
- West, southwest, and northwest: +35…+38°C;
- Central regions: up to +38°C;
- South: +40…+42°C;
- Southeast: +35…+39°C.
July 25:
- West and north of Almaty region: extreme heat up to +42°C;
- Central and eastern regions: +35…+38°C;
- South: up to +42°C;
- Southeast: +35…+39°C.
July 26:
- Almaty region (west and north): heat up to +42°C;
- Southeast and east: up to +39°C;
- North of the country: up to +35°C.
