Tengrinews.kz – Information has spread on social media claiming that singer Beibit Korgan was detained at the Atyrau airport.
The press service of the Transport Police Department commented on the incident, stating that a 44-year-old resident of the city was detained at the Atyrau airport while under the influence of alcohol.
“The man was disturbing public order, loudly using obscene language, and resisted lawful demands of transport police officers,” the department reported.
The police also added that the offender was held administratively liable by court decision.
“For appearing in a public place while intoxicated, petty hooliganism, and disobeying lawful police orders, the offender was brought to administrative responsibility by court ruling. The law is the same for everyone. Regardless of popularity or status, every violator will be held accountable in accordance with the law,” the Transport Police press service concluded.
