The corresponding order was signed by Azerbaijan’s Minister of Emergency Situations, Colonel General Kamaladdin Heydarov.
Under the minister's order, the following employees of Kazakhstan's Ministry of Emergency Situations were awarded the "For Cooperation" badge:

It is worth noting that on December 28, 2024, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev instructed the government to nominate the most distinguished individuals for state awards for their courage and high professionalism in mitigating the aftermath of the aviation disaster. The head of state highlighted that people lined up to donate blood and immediately offered assistance to the victims.
Azerbaijani president thanked Tokayev and the people of Kazakhstan
During a phone conversation, the President of Azerbaijan expressed heartfelt gratitude to Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and the entire Kazakh people. Ilham Aliyev personally thanked the President of Kazakhstan for organizing rescue operations and highly praised the work of Kazakh rescuers, who promptly took necessary measures and actively participated in saving the injured passengers.
Ilham Aliyev also acknowledged the support from ordinary citizens of Kazakhstan, who demonstrated solidarity with Azerbaijan. He described this as further evidence of the close ties between the friendly and brotherly nations, a sentiment deeply appreciated by Azerbaijani society.
