Tengrinews.kz - The Prime Minister informed the President about the current situation regarding the plane crash in Aktau.

The President was briefed on the work of the government commission investigating the causes of the crash and providing assistance to the victims of the Embraer 190 crash of Az Airlines near Aktau Airport.

"Measures have been taken at the scene to provide full support to the victims. Emergency services have been mobilized, with over 430 personnel and about 80 units of equipment involved. 29 people have been hospitalized. The victims are receiving the necessary medical, psychological, and other assistance. Rescue operations are ongoing. Together with the government of Azerbaijan, the required assistance is being provided to foreign nationals and the families of the deceased passengers," said the press service of the Kazakhstan government.

The President of Kazakhstan has instructed that work with the affected citizens be closely monitored and that necessary support be provided to the governments of neighboring countries.
