Tengrinews.kz — Due to the state visit of the Russian President and the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, as well as the preparations for these events, temporary traffic restrictions will be introduced on certain streets in Astana from May 25 to 29.

Tengrinews.kz — Due to the state visit of the Russian President and the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, as well as the preparations for these events, temporary traffic restrictions will be introduced on certain streets in Astana from May 25 to 29.

According to the official statement, the security measures involve resources from special state agencies, law enforcement, and the Armed Forces, including military aircraft and equipment. Furthermore, frontline aviation flights by the Ministry of Defense are scheduled over Astana during these days.

"We ask residents and guests of the capital to show understanding regarding the security measures being implemented during this major international event," the State Security Service stated.

As previously reported, Russian President Vladimir Putin will pay a state visit to Kazakhstan on May 27-29 at the invitation of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

During the talks, the heads of state will discuss the current status and prospects for strengthening the comprehensive strategic partnership and allied relations between Kazakhstan and Russia.

The Eurasian Economic Forum will take place on May 28, with the participation of the heads of state of the Eurasian Economic Union member countries.

A meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council will be held on May 29.
