Over 70 brothels with prostitutes found in Almaty: raid video

Tengrinews.kz – Police uncovered 71 brothels operating out of apartments in three residential complexes in central Almaty. The property owners who rented out these units for sexual services have been held accountable, according to Polisia.kz.

Where the brothels were found

According to the police, apartments in the "Manhattan", "Aqbulaq", and "Kausar" residential complexes were being used to provide intimate services. In some cases, people were living in the apartments without registration or proper documentation.

What awaits the property owners

The apartment owners have been charged with administrative offenses. Measures were also taken against residents involved in the illegal activity.

Police statement

“Police officers carry out daily preventive work to stop illegal acts, and residents must also take responsibility for safety and order where they live. I urge citizens not to remain indifferent and to report violations,” said Maksat Pshan, head of the Almaly district police department.

The police emphasized that such preventive raids will continue on a regular basis.
