Tengrinews.kz - A hematology center will be built in Ust-Kamenogorsk. 33.6 billion tenge have been allocated from the Special State Fund for the construction of the hospital, according to the government press service.
The corresponding order was given by the Head of State.
"The medical institution is planned to have 2 buildings: a hospital for 148 people and a hotel for patients of the clinic with 24 beds. In the main building, laboratories, departments of radiation diagnostics, cardiology, cardiac surgery, hematology, bone marrow transplantation and complex somatics will be equipped with modern medical equipment. The new center will provide patients with access to advanced methods of treatment and rehabilitation," the government said in a statement.
To date, the facility is 78% complete. The frame has been erected, external utility networks have been connected, the roof, facade, window units have been prepared, and the interior decoration has been partially completed.
The total cost of the project is 71.3 billion tenge.
Earlier, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev at the fourth meeting of the National Kurultai instructed to commission the Ust-Kamenogorsk hematology center and a number of other medical facilities.
