Tengrinews.kz – The Ministry of National Economy has a new Vice Minister. Yerlan Sagnaev has been appointed to the position, according to the government’s press service.
Before his appointment, Sagnaev headed the Department of Tax and Customs Policy at the Ministry of National Economy.
Yerlan Sagnaev was born on February 26, 1978, in the village of Zerenda, Akmola region. He graduated from North Kazakhstan University with a degree in economics and management.
Over the years, he worked in the tax authorities of the North Kazakhstan region and served as deputy head of the tax departments in Kostanay, Mangystau, and Karaganda regions.
In 2016, he joined the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance. In 2019, he was appointed Deputy Head of the State Revenue Department for the Atyrau region.
