Tengrinews.kz - President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has signed a law introducing amendments on information access, public participation, state awards, and the elimination of excessive regulations, according to Akorda.

The law aims to improve citizens' access to information by obliging government bodies and quasi-public entities to ensure equal access for persons with disabilities. Additionally, it grants the authorized body new powers to oversee compliance with citizens' rights in this area.

Changes regarding state awards have also been introduced, focusing on stricter candidate requirements and clarifying the award process. Amendments to the law on languages in Kazakhstan include a requirement to coordinate public visual information with local authorities before display.

The full text of the law will be published in official print.

Previously, President Tokayev signed a law addressing issues of commodity exchange trade, entrepreneurship, and diplomatic service issues.
