Tengrinews.kz – The Center for the Development of Labor Resources has published its forecast for 2025: between 1.09 and 1.25 million job vacancies are expected to appear on the Enbek.kz portal, according to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.

Tengrinews.kz – The Center for the Development of Labor Resources has published its forecast for 2025: between 1.09 and 1.25 million job vacancies are expected to appear on the Enbek.kz portal, according to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.

Of these, approximately 243,000 to 350,000 will be for blue-collar occupations.

The most in-demand qualified specialists among employers are expected to be:

  • Middle school teachers (social sciences) – around 29,500 vacancies;
  • Kindergarten teachers – 22,000 vacancies;
  • Caregivers and personal care aides – 19,000 vacancies;
  • Primary school teachers – 17,000 vacancies.

The ministry also listed the most needed working-class professions, including:

  • Mid-level medical care personnel – about 23,300 vacancies;
  • Cooks – 11,600 vacancies;
  • Plumbers and pipefitters – 11,300 vacancies;
  • Boiler and steam machine operators – 9,900 vacancies;
  • Construction assemblers – 9,100 vacancies;
  • Industrial equipment mechanics – 9,000 vacancies;
  • Gas cutters – 8,900 vacancies;
  • Bus drivers – 7,600 vacancies;
  • Power generation operators – 6,700 vacancies.

The regions with the highest number of job openings include Astana, Almaty, Turkistan, Pavlodar, and Karaganda regions. The main sectors showing strong demand are education, healthcare, industry, construction, and energy.

Earlier, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection reported on a study titled 'Assessment of the Impact of Automation, Robotics, and Artificial Intelligence on the Labor Market of the Republic of Kazakhstan.' According to the study, over 1 million jobs in Kazakhstan could be affected by AI.
