Missing Kazakh woman in Vietnam found alive

Tengrinews.kz — The Kazakh woman who had gone missing in Vietnam under strange circumstances has been found. This was reported by her sister.

According to her sister, Asem is currently at a police station.

“She is alive, but her condition is causing concern. While the investigation is ongoing, we cannot disclose details, but the main thing is that she has been found,” her sister said.

What happened

As a reminder, on March 6, 26-year-old Asem, a citizen of Kazakhstan, went missing in Ho Chi Minh City. According to her relatives, she was supposed to fly to Hanoi that day for a meeting with the Kazakh consul. However, about 20 kilometers from the airport, she stopped responding.

Her family said that at the time of her disappearance, Asem had been very frightened and had complained that she was being followed.

Later, Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that they were in contact with the missing woman’s relatives and with the competent authorities in Vietnam, who were searching for her.

Earlier, another citizen of Kazakhstan disappeared under mysterious circumstances in Poland. The woman was supposed to fly from Warsaw to Astana, but never boarded the plane.
