Tengrinews.kz - The search for a Kazakh citizen who went missing in Tbilisi on August 4 has ended in tragedy, with his body discovered earlier today.
The deceased has been identified as 27-year-old Chingis Musadilov. According to his relatives, his whereabouts had been unknown since the early hours of August 4. The news of his death was confirmed to local media by his family. The exact circumstances surrounding his death remain unclear.
The Embassy of Georgia in Kazakhstan has confirmed the information to a Tengrinews.kz correspondent.
The search
Musadilov was last seen between 3:00 AM and 4:00 AM near Laila nightclub, close to the Rustaveli metro station in central Tbilisi, according to friends.
“He didn’t come home or show up at work without informing anyone — which was very unusual for him,” colleagues and friends told reporters.
After that, all communication with Chingis was lost — he stopped responding to calls and messages.
His disappearance prompted a multi-day search. Relatives and friends filed a report with the Tbilisi police and widely circulated missing person notices on social media. Descriptions included: wearing glasses, about 170 cm tall, average build, with black hair with gray strands and green-hazel eyes. He was last seen in a dark green linen short-sleeved shirt and dark gray trousers.
The precise cause of death has not been publicly disclosed. Georgian law enforcement authorities have not yet provided official comments.
In response to a Tengrinews.kz inquiry, Georgian police stated that they could only release information with consent from the victim’s representative due to personal data protections.
