"On June 2, during a scheduled training flight of an unmanned aerial vehicle of the Air Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, an emergency landing occurred in the Talas district of the Zhambyl region," the statement said.

According to the Ministry of Defense, there were no casualties or damage as a result of the incident. There is no threat to the population or infrastructure.

Preliminary data suggests the incident may have been caused by technical malfunctions.

A special commission has been dispatched to the site to investigate the circumstances. Measures are being taken to survey the crash area and establish the causes of the incident.

As a reminder, reports previously surfaced on social media regarding flying objects over a border post in the West Kazakhstan region. The Ministry of Defense stated that no violations of Kazakhstan's airspace have been recorded, and the situation is under the control of the relevant services.
