Meteorologists warned residents of Astana and 13 regions of the country

Tengrinews.kz – Meteorologists have warned residents of Kazakhstan about adverse weather conditions. A storm warning has been issued for Astana and 13 regions of the country, according to Kazhydromet.

Astana – Rain is expected in the morning and afternoon. Fog, ice at night and in the morning. South, southwest wind with gusts of 15-20 meters per second during the day.

Ulytau Region – Fog is expected at times in the west, north, and east of the region.

Karaganda Region – Fog is expected at times in the west, north, and east of the region, with icy roads. South, southeast wind, with gusts of 15-18 meters per second in the west and north in the morning and afternoon.

Kostanay Region – Precipitation (rain, snow) is expected at night in the northern half of the region, with ice formation. Rain is expected in the northern half during the day. Fog is expected in the west, south, and east of the region. Southwest wind with gusts of 15-20 meters per second.

Akmola Region – Precipitation (rain, snow) is expected at night in the west, north, and east of the region, with rain during the day. Fog and ice are expected in the west, north, and east. South, southwest wind of 15-20 meters per second, with gusts of up to 25 meters per second in the west, north, and east.

Atyrau Region – Fog is expected in the west and south of the region at night and in the morning. South, southwest wind with gusts of 15-20 meters per second in the west and north.

Abai Region – In the north and central parts of the region, east, southeast wind of 15-20 meters per second is expected, with gusts reaching 25 meters per second during the day.

West Kazakhstan Region – Fog is expected in the west, north, and east. Southwest wind shifting to northeast, with gusts of 15-20 meters per second during the day.

East Kazakhstan Region – Fog is expected in the north of the region at night and in the morning.

North Kazakhstan Region – Precipitation (rain, snow) is expected at night in the west and north of the region, with rain during the day. Ice is expected in the west and north. Fog is expected in the west, north, and south. Southwest wind of 15-20 meters per second, with gusts of 23-28 meters per second in the west, north, and south.

Aktobe Region – Fog is expected in the east of the region. South, southeast wind with gusts of 15-20 meters per second at night in the north and during the day in the north and west.

Mangystau Region – A dust storm is expected during the day in the west and central parts of the region. Fog is expected at night and in the morning in the south. Southeast, south wind with gusts of 15-20 meters per second in the west and central parts during the morning and afternoon.

Pavlodar Region – Fog and ice are expected in the west and north. South wind, with gusts of 15-20 meters per second in the west and south during the day.

Zhambyl Region – Fog is expected in the north, south, and mountainous areas from March 17-19. Northeast wind of 15-20 meters per second is expected in the northeast and mountainous areas on the morning and afternoon of March 18 and throughout March 19.
