Tengrinews.kz - Meteorologists from Kazhydromet have warned residents of Almaty.

"On January 24, 2025, unfavorable meteorological conditions for air pollution are expected in the city of Almaty," the statement says.

Unfavorable meteorological conditions are a combination of short-term meteorological factors (calm winds, weak wind, fog, inversion) that contribute to the accumulation of harmful (polluting) substances in the ground-level atmospheric air.

On January 24, the weather in Almaty will be without precipitation. Occasional fog. The wind will be from the north at 2-7 meters per second. The air temperature will be -18 to -20°C at night and -10 to -12°C during the day.
