Tengrinews.kz – The company Almaty Su will temporarily cut off cold water in several districts of the city tomorrow, August 26.
Which districts will be without water
Cold water supply will be stopped in residential buildings and administrative offices located in the Auezov, Bostandyk, and Nauryzbay districts.
The shutdown will affect areas within the following boundaries:
- Abay Avenue – Saina Street – Shalyapin Street – Ashimov Street;
- Shalyapin Street – Saina Street – Zhandosov Street – Yassaui Street;
- Zhandosov Street – Bolshaya Almatinka River – Al-Farabi Avenue – Saina Street;
- Zhandosov Street – Saina Street – Askarov Street – Kargaly River;
- Dulati Street, Khan-Tengri microdistrict.
Water pressure will also be reduced in the area bounded by: Altynsarin Avenue – Shalyapin Street – Saina Street – Abay Avenue.
Why will the cold water be cut off
According to Almaty Su, the shutdown is due to equipment replacement as part of planned reconstruction of water supply facilities.
Almaty Su apologized for the temporary inconvenience and asked consumers for understanding regarding the restrictions caused by technical work.
