Currently, all 98 children affected by the infection in Mangistau region have received inpatient treatment at the infectious diseases department of the regional multi-specialty children's hospital and have been released for outpatient monitoring at their homes.

On September 6, 466 students from KGU "General Education School No. 8" in the Munaily district presented with symptoms including fever, diarrhea, vomiting, and weakness. Among them, 98 were hospitalized, including two who required treatment in the intensive care unit.

"Thanks to timely and qualified medical assistance and effective coordination among all responsible agencies, the situation in Mangistau has been fully stabilized and the children's health no longer poses a concern," the Ministry of Healthcare's press service stated.

Mass food poisoning incident occurred in the village of Besshoky. The incident took place at School No. 8, where students from grades 1-4 were affected by food poisoning in the school cafeteria. The responsible parties have been held accountable, and the regional akim has taken personal control of the situation.
