Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko arrived in Kazakhstan with a three-day official visit, Interfax-Kazakhstan reports. Head of Belarus President’s press-service Pavel Legkiy said that special attention will be given to trade-economic relations between the countries. He noted that the trade turnover increased 2.2 times making $900 million in 2010 and 1.4 times during the passed months of 2011. As per Legkiy the plan is to discuss cooperation through interstate integration bodies and the Customs Union in particular. Negotiations will be held in restricted and extended formats; several contracts and agreements are expected to be signed as well.
