Long-awaited warm weather to return to Kazakhstan

Tengrinews.kz – Kazhydromet forecasters have presented the weather forecast for 28 February and 1–2 March.

Cold weather persists

Meteorologists note that although spring is almost here according to the calendar, winter does not want to retreat. A broad anticyclone continues to influence most of Kazakhstan’s territory, maintaining frosty weather with no significant precipitation.

“Only from 2 March will a cyclone begin to move in from the west of Kazakhstan, bringing snow with blizzards, precipitation (rain, snow) in the southern regions, stronger winds, and a gradual rise in air temperature,” the forecasters said.
