King of Jordan to visit Kazakhstan

Tengrinews.kz - At the end of August, Astana will host the official visit of the King of Jordan, citing Akorda.

"At the invitation of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein will pay an official visit to Kazakhstan on August 26-27," the statement reads.

During the visit, top-level talks will be held in Astana aimed at further strengthening Kazakh–Jordanian cooperation in trade, the economy, and cultural and humanitarian fields.

It should be noted that earlier this year, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev made the first official visit in the history of bilateral relations to Jordan. He was welcomed with full honors, including the national anthem, a guard of honor, and a formal report.
