KazMunayGas central office cuts 10 percent of staff

According to the head of the company, 10 percent of the central office staff were affected by the optimization.

“Ten percent means 47 people,” Askhat Khassenov clarified in response to journalists’ questions.

Journalists also asked whether social support measures are provided for the laid-off employees and what amount has been allocated for compensation payments.

In response, the head of KazMunayGas said that all procedures are being carried out in accordance with current legislation.

“Everything is being carried out within the framework of labor legislation and specific employment contracts,” Khassenov said.
