Tengrinews.kz - Kazhydromet issued a warning for Almaty residents.

"On March 19, 2025, unfavorable meteorological conditions for air pollution are expected in the cities of Zhezkazgan and Almaty," the statement reads.

Unfavorable meteorological conditions arise from a combination of short-term weather factors (calm, light wind, fog, inversion) that contribute to the accumulation of harmful (pollutant) substances in the lower atmospheric layer.

Weather in Almaty

On March 19, Almaty will experience partly cloudy skies with no precipitation. The southeast wind will blow at 3-8 meters per second. The temperature will range from 5-7°C at night to 20-22°C during the day.
