Tengrinews.kz - Kazhydromet warned residents of Astana, Almaty, and nine other cities in Kazakhstan about unfavorable weather conditions.

Tengrinews.kz - Kazhydromet warned residents of Astana, Almaty, and nine other cities in Kazakhstan about unfavorable weather conditions.

"On January 27, 2025, unfavorable meteorological conditions, including air pollution, are expected in the cities of Almaty, Astana, Kyzylorda, Aktobe, Atyrau, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Temirtau, Balkhash, Karaganda, Zhezkazgan, and Kostanay," the statement said.

Unfavorable weather conditions related to air pollution are a combination of short-term meteorological factors (calm, weak winds, fog, inversion) that contribute to the accumulation of harmful (polluting) substances in the ground layer of the atmosphere.

Earlier, meteorologists shared what the weather in January would be like in Kazakhstan.
