Tengrinews.kz – Kazhydromet has issued a warning for residents of Almaty and other cities in various regions of the country.

Tengrinews.kz – Kazhydromet has issued a warning for residents of Almaty and other cities in various regions of the country.

“On April 11, 2025, unfavorable meteorological conditions for air pollution are expected in the cities of Karaganda, Ust-Kamenogorsk, and Almaty,” the statement reads.

Unfavorable meteorological conditions refer to a combination of short-term weather factors (calm winds, light breeze, fog, temperature inversion) that contribute to the accumulation of harmful (polluting) substances in the lower layers of the atmosphere.

On April 11, Almaty will experience partly cloudy skies with no precipitation. Wind: Southwesterly at 3–8 m/s. Temperature: Night 10–12°C, Day 21–23°C
