Tengrinews.kz - Kazhydromet has warned residents of Astana and other cities across various regions.
"On March 3, 2025, unfavorable meteorological conditions for air pollution are expected in the cities of Kokshetau, Astana, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Semey, Ridder, and at night in Kostanay," the statement said.
Unfavorable weather conditions involve a combination of short-term meteorological factors (calm, light wind, fog, inversion) that contribute to the accumulation of harmful (polluting) substances in the lower atmospheric layer.

On March 3, the capital will experience partly cloudy skies, with snow and drifting snow in the second half of the day. Fog is expected at night and in the morning. The southeast wind will blow at 3-8 meters per second. Temperatures will be -16 to -18°C at night and -1 to -3°C during the day.
