"On April 1, 2025, unfavorable meteorological conditions of air pollution are expected in the cities of Karaganda, Zhezkazgan, Balkhash, Temirtau, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Shymkent, Almaty," the report says.

Unfavorable meteorological conditions are a combination of short-term meteorological factors (calm, light wind, fog, inversion), which contribute to the accumulation of harmful (polluting) substances in the surface layer of atmospheric air.
