Tengrinews.kz - Kazhydromet has issued a warning for Almaty residents regarding air pollution levels expected on April 4, 2025.
"Unfavorable meteorological conditions for air pollution are forecast for Almaty on April 4, 2025," the official statement said.
Unfavorable meteorological conditions occur when short-term weather factors—such as calm winds, light breezes, fog, or temperature inversions—contribute to the accumulation of harmful pollutants in the lower layers of the atmosphere.
Weather forecast for Almaty
Partly cloudy skies are expected in Almaty on April 4. No precipitation is forecast. Winds will blow from the southwest at 3–8 m/s. Temperatures will range from 7–9°C at night to 23–25°C during the day.
