Tengrinews.kz – Kazhydromet issued a warning for Almaty residents.

"On March 5, 2025, unfavorable meteorological conditions for air pollution are expected in Almaty," the statement says.

Unfavorable weather conditions are a combination of short-term meteorological factors (calm weather, light wind, fog, inversion) that contribute to the accumulation of harmful (polluting) substances in the lower atmospheric layer.

On March 5, Almaty is expected to have partly cloudy weather with no precipitation. Fog is expected at times, and icy roads are possible. The wind will be westerly at 2-7 meters per second. The temperature will be -7 to -9°C at night and +2 to +4°C during the day.
