Tengrinews.kz – Kazhydromet has issued a warning for residents of Almaty and other cities in various regions of the country.
"On April 15, 2025, unfavorable meteorological conditions for air pollution are expected in the cities of Almaty, Aktobe, and Kokshetau," the statement reads.
Unfavorable meteorological conditions are a combination of short-term weather factors (calm, light wind, fog, temperature inversion) that contribute to the accumulation of harmful (polluting) substances in the lower layer of the atmosphere.

In Almaty on April 15, it will be cloudy with no precipitation. Northwest wind, 3–8 m/s. Temperature at night: +9…+11°C, during the day: +21…+23°C.
Earlier, meteorologists released a forecast for the weather in Kazakhstan for April 15, 16, and 17. According to the forecast, the passage of atmospheric fronts will bring unstable weather conditions to most parts of the country, including rain, thunderstorms, and possibly hail. At night, precipitation (rain and snow) is expected in the northwest, north, east, center, and mountainous regions.
