Kazakhstan’s Prime Minister Karim Massimov met LUKOIL President Vagit Alekperov to discuss the Company’s investments into the Kazakhstan’s economy. “I have met with Vagit Alekperov. We dwelt on LUKOIL’s investments into Kazakhstan”, Massimov wrote in his Twitter account. LUKOIL has been operating in Kazakhstan since 1995. LUKOIL is part of 7 on-land oil production projects in Kazakhstan, 4 geological exploration works in the Caspian shelf and of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium. May 17 the Company is expected to sign a memorandum on cooperation with Nazarbayev University. The two entities will be cooperating within frameworks of joint scholarship programs, reaserch projects and students’ social programs. LUKOIL
